In the core distortion, the sphenoid and occipital bones in the skull are twisted relative to each other, causing a parallel twisted imbalance of the hips in almost everyone. This creates a strain pattern for the hip and knee joints which over time contributes to the degeneration of these joints.
- from the article in WDDTY by Cate Montana "The Energy Practitioners Seeking To Fix Spinal Distortions" The core distortion is a spiral “twist” that runs from the top of the head to the feet, affecting the entire structure of the body and causing musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain that often lead to other problems throughout the body.
In the core distortion pattern the sphenoid and occipital bone in the skull are twisted relative to each other throughout life, causing a parallel twisted imbalance of the hips in almost everyone. These bones in the core distortion pattern become imbalanced very early in life, apparently even before birth.
By balancing the body out from the core distortion with a non-touch energetic healing technique, these imbalances and weaknesses can be corrected, contributing to a straightening of the body and to far-reaching and long-lasting health benefits.
Ninety five percent of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction results from lack of support within the core distortion, according to Don McCann, discoverer of core distortion.
The condition can contribute to a wide variety of functional disorders, from temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) to scoliosis, carpel tunnel syndrome to fibromyalgia.
After clearing core distortion, peak performance is a true possibility, along with fewer injuries and a longer athletic career. Recovery time from injuries that do occur is minimized, while overall stamina, endurance, strength, flexibility, organ function efficiency and energy are maximized. This is true for non-athletes as well.
To correct someone's core distortion in persom I use the following Quantum Touch technique: “First I take measurements of the occipital bone. I measure to see if one side is higher than the other. I measure the hips to see if one hip is higher than the other. Then I have the client stand in front of me. I ask them to relax. I establish the intention to restore balance and harmony in the sphenoid bone, in the occipital bone and throughout the body. “Using my body awareness and breath awareness and my decades of training, I focus on drawing energy into my body, direct the energy to my heart chakra, raising the frequency of the energy to a very high level. Then as I exhale, I direct the energy from the heart chakra to the client. The client’s body knows what to do from that point on.”
